We had out wedding on the 19th of June everything was perfect. From booking the venue to the day after the wedding everything went smoothly. Staff were friendly rooms were spotless. We had a buffet and everyone said what good quality the food was. Drinks were a good price. Breakfast the morning after the wedding was nice. Would 100% recommend the Melbourne View Hotel for a wedding.
My daughter had her wedding here recently,the owners Trudy and Steven were amazing. They accommodated everyone the staff were brilliant I couldn't find any fault. The venue itself is light and airy it's decorated lovely. The garden , plus the views it was perfect plus if you love looking at airplanes it's on the flight path. The breakfast food was well cooked, presented nicely . As a venue that holds weddings you have the option of an indoor/outdoor wedding
I attended my sisters wedding here and stayed overnight in a family room. We had a wonderful time, the room was clean, tidy and the beds were comfortable. The wedding was executed perfectly and the food throughout the day and evening was delicious. Staff were friendly and attentive and the bar prices were fair. All in all, a fantastic venue. Thankyou for helping my sister and brother in law have the perfect day
We had our wedding held here on 13th September which was 18 months in the making. Trudy and her team at The Melbourne View were amazing all the way through. I can't recommend this place enough it was perfect. The place is spotlessly clean and nothing is to much trouble. We had exclusive use of the venue all day. We had our wedding there yesterday and it was absolutely fantastic, the views around the property provided great photos, there was plenty of room for our guests who wanted to stay the night l, and the staff were all very polite and professional ensuring everything went smoothly. Would highly recommend them to anyone who is thinking of having their wedding venue here. Codie & Danni
Attended for a wedding and stayed overnight. Food was lovely. I had the vegan option and they catered very well. Even the cheese and biscuits had vegan cheese. Beds were very comfy. Breakfast was good as well and nice to sit round with everyone and have it brought to you rather than buffet.
I had a lovely welcome, even though I was late arriving. The room was clean, comfortable and spacious. It's a small hotel with a friendly atmosphere, set in a peaceful location close to Donington race track and East Midlands Airport.
Only a 15 mins walk walk from Donnington park. The hotel rooms are spacious, clean and very well presented. The lady who runs the Hotel is helpful and friendly. The Breakfast (full English) was very nice.
